What is vermeil?: Vermeil is an alloy made of solid silver, in this instance polished, and covered with 5 microns of 18-carat yellow gold, considered by many to be the best quality of gold. This precious metal is stamped to guarantee its authenticity, in keeping with customs regulations.

L'avis de la créatrice

Larger than its stem version, the Liane Clip earring was designed to dress the lobe. Discreet yet singular, I imagined it worn solo as a nod to the asymmetry, poetic and free, that one finds in the natural world. I had this idea of an organic earring that would adorn the ear like a creeper, its gold or silver lines unfurling like precious links.

Designed to be worn horizontally, it curves gracefully at the lobe and was inspired by my observations of nature and Peter Wohlleben's, The Hidden Life of Trees.
