A Parisienne of South African heritage, Annelise Michelson founded her eponymous brand in 2012, immediately positioning herself as a free spirit in the highly codified world of high-end jewellery. Couture-esque, her collections are at once glamorous and sculptural... An artist first and foremost, she sees her pieces like talismans, loaded with beauty and channelling strength and self-confidence. Her jewels aren’t just ‘accessories’, they are designed to dress the wearer, placing design and inspired volumes firmly in the spotlight. From the very beginning, Annelise’s bold vision resonated with many including the likes of Rihanna, Juliette Binoche, Zoe Kravitz, Robin Wright and Leandra Cohen, allowing the house to blossom quickly. Constantly evolving and growing, today Annelise Michelson counts more than ten collections to its name including the evocatively titled Drapée, Déchaînée, Wire and Vertigo capsules.

Savoir-Faire & Philosophy

Exclusively Made in France, Annelise has been imagining, prototyping and producing her unique designs in limited quantities since 2012. Crafted from bronze, silver or vermeil, each piece is cast, polished and then gilded with fine 18-carat gold in the House’s Parisian ateliers.

Collections made to last: Offering one or two new collections a year, Annelise Michelson asserts its independence and its desire to go beyond fashion with timeless pieces inspired by nature, art and architecture. Durability of design and form are therefore intrinsic to its collections.

An intelligent production: In order to limit waste, the house produces its jewellery in limited quantities using traditional and ethical methods. Over time, each collection is revaluated in order to carry over only those pieces that reveal themselves to be truly iconic. Using reasonable just-in-time production methods, stock is managed intelligently making for a healthier ecological footprint.

An ethical guarantee: To guarantee the traceability and ethics of the materials it uses and its manufacturing conditions, Annelise Michelson works only with French craftsmen, many of whom are also solicited by major luxury brands. All of the bronze, silver and gold used by the house is issued from sustainably managed sources and subject to strict legislation.

At once contemporary and timeless, your Annelise Michelson jewel is a forever piece, designed to be worn for a lifetime and passed on, thus perpetuating the house’s ethos of quiet strength.
