Sculpture

Annelise Michelson is a visual artist who carves stone with the same intensity with which she sculpts the wax for her jewelry.
The two practices echo and inspire each other, in a constant dialogue between gesture, material, and form.

Sculpted in France and Italy, her works convey an organic and powerful aesthetic that has become her signature.
Each piece is born from a raw stone, from which she releases its inner tension to bring forth a silhouette.

Abstract or subtly evocative, these forms allow for interpretation and personal projection, finding resonance in each individual's inner world.

All sculptures are produced in limited editions of 8 copies, numbered and signed.

La Petite Madone, Ovoidale in Movimiento, and Conchiglia Futuristica are Annelise's latest works as a sculptor. All three pieces were sculpted in Italy, using traditional carving techniques. All of Annelise Michelson's sculptures are on display at her Parisian Studio.

Whether it's jewelry or sculptures, Annelise Michelson crafts each piece by hand. An instinctive dialogue with the material gives rise to powerful and unique forms.

“For me, it all starts with sculpture.
Before being a jewel, it is a form, something that I sculpt, twist or shape by hand, until it comes to life.

I am attracted to bold lines, curves that accompany the body.
I want each piece to be felt as much as it is seen, like a small sculpture that we wear and make our own.

All my creations are handmade in Paris, in collaboration with talented artisans.
Together, we give shape to ideas, sensual, powerful volumes that carry intention."
